We believe our young people will be the hardest hit by the immediate and long-term effects of the current COVID-19 crisis. Help our London students stay focused on their education and futures by supporting us to keep them on track and enabling them to still achieve their full potential.

    Situation

Our students in London already live in some of the UK's most disadvantaged communities and the current crisis is set to further exacerbate the challenges they are facing. Our young people will be the hardest hit by the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 learning loss and the economic after-effects of the lockdown. We are gravely concerned about the potential impact on their mental health, educational achievement, and future learning and employability prospects.

    Solution

Our 12 London centres work closely with families and schools to support young people and they have continued to do so during the crisis through remote support. We are still there for our students, providing pastoral and academic support to keep them on track with their learning. Longer-term, when we are able to re-open our learning centres, will provide young people with the support and motivation required to still achieve their goals through our tried and tested programme.
