Situation
In response to the UK government’s advice to stop non-essential contact in order to contain the further spread of coronavirus, we are closed to the public until it is safe to reopen our doors. House of Illustration doesn’t receive any public funding. We remain entirely reliant each year on the money we are able to generate ourselves, through fundraising, ticketing and retail income. Due to the closure, we’re facing a reduction in income from these key income streams.
Solution
Your donations will help us to continue to run our exhibitions, education programme, outreach work, public events, residencies and more once it is safe to do so. While we’re closed to the public, your donations will help us to continue to engage our audiences, support our freelances and pay our staff. If you are a regular UK taxpayer, you can make your donation worth more to us, at no extra cost to you, by allowing us to claim Gift Aid on your donation.
