    Situation

Due to the closure of the farm amid Covid-19 the project is loosing vital donations from visitors, lack of site sales (bric-a-brac) and the small unit hire. Urgent funds are now required to ensure the volunteers can continue to feed, water and vet the animals on site and maintain the buildings and facilities until the project can re-open. With the farm closed we are unable to provide the valuable, supportive, safe haven we offer to the disadvantaged within the local community and wider areas.

    Solution

The charity volunteers are continuing to manage and maintain the standards of the site and animal welfare during the Covid-19 pandemic. While spare time and willingness is in abundance the charity recognise's the key to survival through the lock-down will be to obtain donations through alternative methods not previously employed. To have this funding assistance will ensure the farm stays open, the animals will be well looked after and we can continue with building on our 30 years of service.
