We provide an activity programme to give our children the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers. This cost is never passed onto our parents. Visits to horse sanctuaries, farms, cinemas, shows, as well as bringing entertainment to Cherry Trees to inspire and delight our children.

Situation
We ensure children progress and participate in a range of activities and positive experiences. We believe that every child is an individual with the right to enjoy a normal pattern of life within the community. Many of our children at home, do not get to go on outings as it can be extremely difficult for parents to arrange and costly.many children struggle with transitioning to new places and our care team have the time and patience to help build confidence to do this.
Solution
By providing these activities to our children at no cost to parents, we can ensure our children get to achieve these experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in social situations as well as adapt to new environments, sounds and sights. We aim to ensure that all of our children participate in as many activities as possible. Last year we provided 196 outings, 786 children’s visits were involved with these outings.
