Situation
Every year we need funds to continue employing talented actors. Our Producers craft a programme of plays with city-wide audience-appeal, ranging from homegrown youth productions in our studio to large scale masterpieces such as our Christmas productions. Top quality actors bring these productions to life and by producing theatre of quality we directly inform the work in our Engagement and Artist Development programmes. Excellence on stage translates to excellence across the organisation.
Solution
This year we have cast many exceptionally strong homegrown Bristolian talents and we will give them the same experience as our Hollywood A-listers. High-profile actors such as Jeremy Irons, Lesley Manville, Toby Jones, Dean Lennox Kelly, Miltos Yerolemou & Tristan Sturrock have performed on our stage. We want to make sure every actor is welcomed in the same way. Without their talent we wouldn't be able to share our stories and inspire creativity in our audiences.
