Situation
Although Mozart is arguably the greatest composer ever to have lived, many of his works are not well known, and most ensembles perform a tiny fraction of the music of his contemporaries. Artists in the early stages of their careers have been badly hit by the pandemic, which has robbed them of important developmental & performance opportunities, and schoolchildren have also suffered, with mental health among young people at an all-time low, while music is being squeezed out of the curriculum.
Solution
Our conductor/artistic director Ian Page & many of the musicians we work with are leaders in their field, sharing a wealth of knowledge & experience. Our projects showcase outstanding young talent, and our Associate Artists Scheme helps to build an ever-expanding ensemble of world-class young singers. In our outreach projects, highly skilled workshop leaders will connect with 1000s of children, including special needs groups, building creativity, confidence, communication & team-working skills
