    Situation

    If you've ever had a sleepless night you've experienced a mental health issue.3 in 4 people know someone who struggles with their mental health and 1 in 4 struggle themselves.However Government spends less than 1% of annual budgets on mental health provision.Waiting lists for NHS services are as long as 4 years and many can't wait that long for support. Before the pandemic, the two top social issues were social isolation and mental health. As lockdown has eased, the situation has deteriorated.

    Solution

    Kintsugi Hope resource organisations to run facilitated peer mentoring style Wellbeing Groups by trained and safeguarding-checked Group Leaders for anyone to attend, to invest in their mental and emotional wellbeing, particularly for those who are struggling or lonely. Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Groups are non-judgemental, safe spaces looking at a range of topics such as Anxiety, Perfectionism and Resilience with material for adults, youth and students.
