    Situation

Many young people with disabilities use the magic of theatre to access, or make sense of, the world around them. Isolation during the past pandemic has left these vulnerable young people anxious and unprepared for the future. Head2Head would like to expand its Work Experience Programme to support more young people with disabilities in order to build their confidence and give them the skills to build an independent future for themselves.

    Solution

Our volunteer-led charity wishes to expand its Work Experience Programme to enable more young people with disabilities to gain work experience. We can only do this by raising money to fund accredited drama and life skills workshops run by experience drama facilitators. Annually, the Programme enriches the lives of twenty young people, providing them with the skills necessary to enroll onto a London drama course or gain employment within the theatre or film industry, or customer facing role.
