    Situation

The advancement of education for the public benefit, by offering undergraduate grants to disadvantaged young people from Dheisheh Palestinian Refugee Camp, and its vicinity, in Bethlehem who demonstrate academic and community achievements but whose financial and social situation hinders them from pursuing undergraduate study within Palestinian Universities.

    Solution

To provide financial support for academically able young people from Dheisheh Palestinian Refugee Camp to achieve an undergraduate degree. Achieving an undergraduate degree enables them to fulfill their right to education and hence establish a more sustainable position for them when seeking future employment. To enable JAEP to maximise the impact of their funds, young people are selected from the first, second, third or fourth year of their course.
