Situation
The pandemic created challenges unlike any in our 26-year history. As conditions improve, there remains significant demand for our services as children and families cope with unprecedented levels of bereavement. This Christmas and beyond our aim remains the same: to support children, families, and parents to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies.
Solution
We provide free, tailored bereavement support in a way that best suits the needs of each family. Since March 2020 we have evolved significantly and continue to adapt our support making it available in ways that work for families. Since resuming face-to-face bereavement services, we have continued to deliver remote services concurrently as part of a new blended model, allowing us to reach a greater number of families and giving beneficiaries flexibility in how they access our support.
