We are raising funds to support our choirs involving homeless and marginalised people. We deliver joyful and life affirming rehearsals, gigs and outreach singing projects with some of the most isolated and socially disadvantaged members of our communities.

    Situation

According to Crisis, in 2020 an estimated 203,400 people were experiencing the most acute forms of homelessness across England, with the aftermath of the pandemic meaning core homelessness levels are expected to sit 33% higher than 2019 levels. This is why the Choir with No Name is needed now more than ever. We offer people going through a tough time, a safe, welcoming, inclusive choir community, where they can restore the confidence and personal reslilence needed to move away from homelessness.

    Solution

Our vision is that all people going through tough times find a place to sing their hearts out, beat loneliness, and build confidence and skills through singing. The Choir with No Name is a thriving and diverse community of people who support each other to grow, musically and personally. We address the most common reasons someone might find it difficult to move on from homelessness, such as social isolation, low confidence and lack of skills for work and life.
