The health of democracy in Britain is vital to our security and economic well-being, as well as to the impact and credibility we have globally. A series of political scandals in the UK have highlighted poor conduct by our elected representatives. This slipping of standards, and the decisions arising from it, puts hundreds of millions, if not billions, of taxpayers’ funds at risk - money that could otherwise pay for public services like the NHS, education and help to fund our economic recovery.
Solution
Since 1995, we have led the fight against corruption in the UK. With a proven track record in securing change, we evidence the issues and provide practical solutions. We build coalitions across civil society, media, government, business and politics to push for – and implement - change. This includes improving existing laws, advocating for new ones, or helping to change the attitudes and practice of businesses and the public to stop corruption.
