Companies and banks pouring money into fossil fuels, mining and harmful agri-business is driving the climate crisis. Communities and ecosystems face devastating consequences – from natural disasters to human rights abuses. These same companies have huge influence on governments’ response to the climate crisis. They peddle greenwashing claims, while using their money and power to drown out the voices of those most impacted by the climate crisis and those defending their land and our environment.

We must cut off the power of climate-wrecking companies by exposing their wrongdoings and the extent of their undue influence. We focus attention on those disproportionately dealing with the impacts of the climate crisis. We must magnify the calls to action issued by land and environmental defenders. Listening to defenders is a matter of expediency and climate justice. Together, we will stoke the public demand for action and fight for laws that stop investment in climate-wrecking industries.
