We need your continued support to move into the second year of cataloguing, digitising and preserving our archive to ensure that accurate, authentic information about the Holocaust is preserved and accessible worldwide. Over 5-years, we will digitise a third of our collection of over 2million items.

    Situation

Sadly online antisemitism and Holocaust denial are becoming more widespread. The Community Security Trust’s latest antisemitic incidents report shows 2,255 anti-Jewish hate incidents were reported in 2021, the highest ever reported. With hatred of this kind rising we must act urgently. We stand ready to support this fight by using our archive to provide accurate information on the Holocaust. However, access to our archive is limited, with many items only accessible by visiting us in person.

    Solution

To address this problem we must make our archive more accessible than ever before. To achieve this we will revolutionise access via our 5-year Digital Transformation Project, which will see one third of our archive fully digitised and fully accessible online to a worldwide audience. Thanks to your support last year we have already made significant progress in this project. However, there are many more items in our collection we still need to digitise. To make this happen we need your support.
