    Situation

Specialist music tuition is expensive. With the rising cost of living in London and the expenses of owning an instrument, many students find the financial commitment of studying at music conservatoire prohibitive. This is especially true on account of current world events which have left many continuing and incoming RCM students in significant financial difficulty. A lack of financial support for RCM students will drastically affect the future of music and its positive impact on our society.

    Solution

We believe that no talented student should be denied a top-quality musical education due to lack of funding and we are committed to attracting and nurturing exceptional young musicians, regardless of their background or financial circumstances. Our scholarships programme gives students the opportunity to excel in their studies without financial worries, to unlock their potential and inspire others with their music-making. Over 50% of our students currently receive some form of financial support.
