We are campaigning for an end to greyhound racing. We see first-hand the damage racing does to these dogs, as well as the neglect they suffer while being exploited as a commodity. The sheer scale of the number of dogs who escape injury or death on the track and make it to the end of their race career at around 3-5 years means thousands of rescued greyhounds face a very uncertain future. Many are abandoned, killed (often inhumanely) or exported to countries with poor welfare standards.

Forever Hounds Trust offers a crucial lifeline to rescued greyhounds. This project will fund the rescue, rehabilitation and homing of ex-racers and give them the second chance at life they deserve. Many come to us with injuries, or behavioural problems caused by lack of socialisation. Our teams work extra hard to provide the special care they need to adjust to life beyond the track and prepare them for their forever homes.
