Situation
With approximately 7.5 million people in the UK living with a diagnosed mental illness, and an estimated one in four of us experiencing a mental health problem every year pre-pandemic there is not enough support or information for people with complex mental health needs. Also 2.6 million adults across Great Britain report that they feel lonely “often” or “always”. We believe that no one should be lonely or isolated.
Solution
Our programmes aim to increase everyone’s knowledge and understanding on how to protect and maintain mental health. we’re helping people to connect and support each other through our online peer support platform Clic. Since Clic’s launch, we’ve helped thousands of people to feel less isolated and find the mental health information they need by offering resources and facilitating a safe environment, moderated 24/7, for people to chat peer-to-peer online.
