Refugee children & families in London were disproportionately disadvantaged by the pandemic and the subsequent significant rises in the costs of rent, utilities, food travel and national insurance.
We will run free programmes of activities for refugee & migrant children and young people aged 5-18 throughout school holidays for a year. These programmes will offer a variety of social, physical, creative, therapeutic and outdoor activities aimed at building social relationships, emotional resilience and wellbeing. We piloted a new approach in 2021 and will expand significantly over the next year.
I’m sad it’s the last day. Can we have 2 more weeks please?
