Situation
Mental health difficulties for children are increasing and have deteriorated significantly because of Covid 19. 2.3 m children in England are at risk from living with vulnerable families. There has been a growing disconnect between children and nature which has been shown to be harmful to their development and wellbeing and children lack access to the help they desperately need to prevent permanent school exclusion, family breakdown or mental health challenges.
Solution
Our therapeutic approach has been built on the healing power of nature to bring about lasting change. Children and families work outdoors with wood, wool, clay and other natural materials. A nurturing sustainable environment and our experienced therapists allow children to overcome past trauma, build self-belief, strengthen relationships and develop the skills and aspirations for a brighter future,
