What does it really take to make a home? We believe there are many elements that are key to ending a person’s homelessness. Our new strategy will see us expanding our services so that we can offer support in all of these areas, to make sure that everyone has a place to call home.

    Situation

More people are facing homelessness in Westminster than in any other UK borough. The pandemic created a unique opportunity for The Passage and others to come together to address the varied and complex issues of rough sleeping. We understand many people need support in other areas for them to be able to maintain safe and sustainable accommodation. We know it takes more than a house to make a home.

    Solution

Our new strategy - No Going Back - includes five strategic goals. These are Prevention, Progression, Collaboration, Quality and Resilience. They provide the framework within which we will work towards our vision of a society where street homelessness no longer exists and everyone has a place to call home. Please watch our video where our staff share more details about our new strategy.
