    Situation

73% of young people are worried about the state of the planet. We know they have a strong desire to take action, but often lack inspiring opportunities and the skills and confidence to take the first step. Just when we need them most we risk losing and alienating the next generation of environmental volunteers, supporters and professionals. We need young people from all backgrounds to feel connected to nature and empowered to protect it, if we are to have any hope of building a greener future.

    Solution

Our programme offers 12 months of mentoring, support, action-based events, skill-based training, media opportunities and tailored project support, that inspires and empowers young people to lead change and become powerful youth voices for nature nationally. With their sense of agency and commitment to action, Ambassadors serve as a powerful example of the value of a youth movement for nature, encouraging the sector to embed youth-decision making and involvement in environmental action.
