We would like funding to help us work pupils from local secondary schools to plan and provide 2 one day community event to mark and celebrate International Womens Day 2023 There would be 2 events one in Crewe and one in Winsford. There will also be a 12 month campaign leading up to event.

Situation
Increase awareness among women & girls of female centred services in their local area. Since the pandemic there has been an increased in services for third and statutory services that are aimed at supporting Women. However we finding that many women do not know what services are available to them and how they can contact the services. Winsford and Crewe have significant areas of deprivation and women present with many complex issues not knowing what services are available to them.
Solution
We will provide a solution to the problem by: Inviting all Women Centred Services into the one place. Promoting the services through a campaign that will run for 12 months through all social media platforms. Work with schools to provide a directory of services that they can refer into. Bring together women in business to be part of the celebration to bring together a full collaboration of women that can offer support to each other. Work with the local women and girls to help shape the events.
