Raising funds to support the hardest to reach and financially excluded communities through our chosen sustainable finance model to help start up and growth social enterprises. We will positively discriminate towards social enterprises that have minority leadership and/or focus on hardest to reach.

Situation
We are solving a critical issue of lack of capital available to smaller social enterprises or Charities that have an enterprise led approach to financial inclusion and poverty alleviation. There are no funders who enable sub £50k capital to flow to such opportunities and so the community based organisations often struggle for capital to grow their enterprise idea. We provide capital and mentoring to enable these organisations to flourish and impact positively on their communities.
Solution
We use a model called Revenue Share. This means organisations do not have to take on debt (personally or organizationally) and the repayment of the grant is based purely on success (revenue). The repayment makes the fund a revolving sustainable fund so that their success means they also help the next enterprise. We focus on minority groups and female led enterprises as we believe they have a greater impact on the same target beneficiaries.
