This campaign has now closed

Often we hear world leaders pledge that more needs to be done to combat the climate crisis, with little progress. Now is the time for action with Trees for Cities! This campaign will fund tree planting in urban areas, benefiting communities that need it most and tackling the climate crisis head-on.

    Situation

Every day the UK loses 50 urban trees due to developments, disease, or ageing. And with 80% of the population living in towns or cities, many people now breathe dirty air, are at risk of flooding, & are struggling with rising temperatures worsened by the urban heat island effect. Without urban trees, our physical, mental health & wellbeing are all affected. Our connection with nature becomes lost - especially at an early age - and urban biodiversity is threatened. This trend needs reversing now!

    Solution

At Trees for Cities, the message of accelerating climate action locally, nationally & internationally has always been at the heart of the organisation. With 28 years of experience in urban tree planting, we have been consistently working to highlight the challenges of climate change & give hope through the direct positive action of tree planting. A key part of this is the restoration of natural habitats and urban ecosystems, to provide and support increased biodiversity in our towns and cities.
