Dancers must possess versatility, technical excellence and extensive performance experience to excel in the performing arts industry. Given the challenges of the last two years the jobs market is especially competitive. Whilst Central’s world-leading training has long held an industry-wide reputation for creating dancers who personify these advanced skills, this project will provide additional opportunities to amplify these skillsets to best prepare Central students to launch their careers.

We will enrich Central’s Artistic Programme with innovative opportunities to deepen students’ skillsets including a masterclass and workshop series with industry leaders, collaborative projects with partner/s from the performing/visual arts disciplines and an enriched performance programme including the inaugural season in our new Studio Theatre. Together this will help ensure Central graduates remain industry-ready - equipped with skills that reflect the latest needs of the dance industry.
