In Mexico, 4 million children and youth are currently out of school. Our home of Chiapas has the lowest Human Development Index rate in Mexico, with an estimated 25% of children being malnourished. Children and youth are especially at high risk of living in poverty and of growing up with limited opportunities as 1 out of 10 young men are currently neither working nor studying. All these factors can contribute to 39.4% of adolescents presenting mental health disorders.

We manage one community outreach centre & three residential homes, which act as safe spaces for our 50 children and youth. Within these safe spaces, we provide access to free health, wellbeing, & educational services such as therapy, positive masculinity workshops, extra-curricular activities, English classes & nutritional courses. These skills and opportunities empower our children and youth to advance in all areas of their lives, becoming positive agents of change in their communities.
