Adapting the nature, extent and delivery of our provision to reflect an evolving ‘new normal’, we aim, through the arts, to support and improve our community’s well-being, with particular emphasis on: vulnerable children; care home residents; the unemployed, isolated, infirm and bereaved.

    Situation

How to accelerate our strategy to provide, through arts activities, attractive opportunities for social interaction, to those who have become isolated; how to build upon our work to fill gaps in terms of lost education in the arts; how to provide safe live events that meet prescribed guidelines, for all age groups; how to increase our support to local self-employed arts practitioners, facilitators and performers.

    Solution

By developing provision for the isolated, taking arts into the community and facilitating participation in venue-hosted events. By extending links and collaborations with local groups/schools in the pursuit of equality of access to the arts. By employing local artists/performers. Expanding arts-related outreach activities will be supported by the safe return of live performances/films/exhibitions, all of which provide funding assistance and dovetailed stimulus material for outreach enterprises.
