Situation

Medically discharged veterans with physical and mental injuries struggle to re-engage in civilian life and employment. On average the veterans we support have been out of the Armed Forces for 6 years and are 39 years of age. The majority of our veterans have been through other programmes, which for a number of reasons haven't been right for them at the time. They come to us with little hope and motivation and our job is to turn things around for them and their loved ones.

Solution

We offer a comprehensive pathway of programmes that are designed to support veterans through rehabilitation into meaningful employment and stability. This includes pain management programmes and medication review and medication addiction clinics; sportshabilitation, a proven way of engaging veterans; mentoring and employment programme; a veteran network providing peer to peer advice and guidance for veterans and their loved ones. Support continues for as long as it is needed.
