Trevi is an award-winning charity in Devon. We provide safe and nurturing spaces for women and their families to heal, grow and thrive. This Christmas we need to raise vital funds to ensure that more women and children have the chance to break free from abuse and are given a fresh start in life.

Situation
Every 16 minutes a child is taken into care. Only one in 10 is reunited with their mother. The number of children taken into care in their first year has more than doubled since 2007/8; significantly more newborns (under 7 days old) are removed at birth. 25% of women who have one child removed will go on to have repeated removals. 2/3 of those cases involve parental substance misuse; with 80% of women affected by domestic abuse. There is a record number of 80,000+ children in care in the UK.
Solution
Since 1993, we’ve helped transform the lives of thousands of women and their children. From rehab and health to housing and employment, we help any woman in recovery move from ‘surviving’ to ‘thriving’. At our residential rehabilitation centre, our dedicated and expert team works with each mother to help her break her addiction for good and to be the best mother she can be. We take referrals from across the UK and can accommodate up to 12 women and their children at any time.
