Managing this multi-system disorder is complex and medical care fragmented, leading to contraindications which can lead to adverse events and early fatalities. CIPP Rett Centre is a clinical research and treatment centre based at Maudsley Hospital/King’s College London, working to improve the lives and survival rates of all affected.
Solution
CIPP Rett Centre provides holistic care for those Rett patients deemed clinically the most at risk from serious adverse events including early mortality. Through the combined clinical and research applications, CIPP Rett are able to generate learning and best practises and share with other clinicians treating patients across the UK and beyond. CIPP Rett are revolutionising attitudes and expectations of medical management in Rett and paving the way for for next generation treatments and cures.
