For many young Londoners living in low- scoring socio -economic areas, the playing field is not level. As well as challenges around low self esteem, due to negative attitudes of wider society and a lack of positive role models, there is frequent inequality of opportunity, exposure to uninspiring environments and social and economic barriers to accessible pathways towards personal and career development. Covid has led to an even more uneven for young people living with disadvantage.

At Behind Every Kick, we believe that 'better never stops' so we want to be reaching even more young people year on year, ensuring that they receive a high quality, evidence based and sustainable experience from Behind Every Kick through a expertly designed skills development programme and a breadth of experiences, mentoring opportunities and connections to business and individuals in order to create sustainable pathways to employabitly, further education and enhanced career prospects.
