    Situation

Millions of people live in fear. Every day they face the threat of violence, being wrongly arrested or mistreated. Their human rights are denied. They live in countries where there’s no trust between different parts of society and where relationships with those in power have broken down. The tension and conflict that results leaves communities trapped in poverty. A lack of peace means people can’t live life to the full and don’t reach their potential.

    Solution

Working to promote the power of peaceful relationships we: 1. Strengthen communities to effectively engage with people in power 2. Help people in power understand how and why to engage with communities 3. Create spaces where communities and people in power can work together to resolve key issues As a result, trust grows. Relationships develop. People find peaceful solutions to their problems. Human rights are protected. Poverty is tackled. Individuals live free from fear and communities flourish
