    Situation

    1. COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on the mental and physical well-being of young people around the world 2. The world is facing a refugee crisis. Almost 1 million Syrian refugees are living in poverty in Lebanon, including hundreds of thousands of children in desperate need of hope, opportunity, and a chance to recapture their childhoods 3. Women, girls, and those from the most disadvantaged backgrounds face barriers to participating and progressing in sport, both in the UK and globally

    Solution

Our free-to-access cricket Hubs improve physical and mental well-being, promote equality of opportunity, and empower and inspire young people to reach their full potential. Next year we will run 74 Hubs in the UK and fund 5 in Lebanon. In the UK, our Hubs ensure equal access to cricket and its far-reaching benefits regardless of race, gender, or socio-economic circumstance. In Lebanon, our Hubs provide joy and a lifeline for young Syrian refugees who have escaped the unimaginable horrors of war.
