Our core support service for calls, email, web chats and social media is run by dedicated staff and volunteers throughout the year providing much needed support to over 4500 queries a year. We are raising funds to continue this service and ensure that every person gets the support they need!

Situation
LGBT+ issues are all encompassing and impact many aspects of an individuals life. When clients join us, they are most likely struggling with mental health and standard life issues complicated by an LGBT+ related concern, e.g: self-acceptance; coming out to family, work or school; the escalation of mental health problem/s; or relatable practical issues, e.g.employment, relationships, discrimination, hate crime, domestic abuse and suicide.
Solution
Clients have autonomy over the support provided and determine their plans with a support officer based on their own needs. It is a life-long journey for anyone ‘questioning’ their gender and sexuality as a result of long-term, ingrained and historical bias towards heteronormativity in society. Our services provide confidence that their mental health, wellbeing and concerns will be treated with respect & dignity; we are here to listen, support and validate their journey to a healthy life.
