Growing Hope provides free therapy for children with additional needs and their families, in partnership with churches, across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus. With your support we can reach our vision of 20 free therapy clinics across the UK by 2030.

In the UK 14.9% of children have additional needs. Many of them are unable to develop function skills such as dressing themselves or writing their name because of a lack of therapy provision. Without our free therapy services, many families would be stuck on long NHS waiting lists or would have to sacrifice basic necessities to pay for private therapy. Even before the pandemic, families of children with additional needs have perceived a reduction in health services over the last few years.
Growing Hope aims to bridge a gap in the UK’s therapy provision by setting up free therapy clinics in partnership with churches. We currently offer a range of therapy including: occupational, speech and language, physio, music and art therapy. We also provide groups for parents, carers and siblings of children with additional needs so they can connect with each other and process their emotions. We offer to support families to attend their local church if they would like to.
Having therapy has really helped my child, especially during lockdown when it was difficult to keep routines going. The therapist was great with my child. Growing Hope has changed our lives. It has given my child access to therapies, we would normally never be able to have so consistently.
The virtual parent support group helped me a lot, I was stuck in a stressful situation at that time. That moment saved my life. It was a one hour healing therapy session for me. It helped me to realise I am not alone.
Our clinic was full within 2 weeks of opening. The families it serves have genuinely fallen between the cracks of the care system and have been overwhelmed by the quality and the kindness of the care they’ve been given by Growing Hope.
The group was fun, it was helpful because my brother has been speaking more, it helped me because I can finally play with him.
