The Met exists to bring creativity and culture to our community. We are a music venue, a recording studio, a home to performing arts workshops, and a house of independent artists. We believe in the power of creativity to uplift, inspire and include, and improve the wellbeing of many lives.

Situation
Our community, the artists we work with, and the audiences we serve have had an incredibly challenging time. Due to the pandemic, our building was temporarily closed for over a year, meaning we’ve had to postpone or cancel countless shows and endure a continuous period of reduced income. We’ve worked hard to continually support emerging artists, independent creatives and vulnerable community members, adapting our digital programme to support the needs of our community.
Solution
As we enter a period of recovery, we are able to welcome audiences, participants and artists back through the doors. Donations have become absolutely vital in enabling us to continue delivering our work, and have played a large role in keeping us afloat during such a challenging period. Donations enable us to continue adapting our work to the changing situation, and deliver brilliant projects designed to uplift, entertain and inspire our audiences.
