    Situation

Classical music, particularly live performance, is often accessible only to a select few. With increased wellbeing and child development as proven benefits, we want to make classical music available to people from all ages and walks of life in a way that responds to the diversity within local communities. Schools have limited resource for children to explore musical interest and ability so we place high value on the importance of providing opportunities for exploration and talent development.

    Solution

As well as world class traditional concert-style events, we are producing an informal 'Around Town' programme, taking events into harder to reach communities and offering an accessible, 'relaxed' concert for SEND school children. We provide year-round musical education programmes to engage children and young people and an annual talent development programme that offers emerging musicians access to Industry experts and unique learning and performance opportunities.
