Thousands of people had their diagnosis and treatment for head and neck cancer delayed during lockdown. Now they're being diagnosed later than ever, people need more support and better treatment options to help them survive and thrive. We know people need more and better help suited to their needs now and we need to step up to ensure the treatments are effective for late stage diagnosis and people are supported through their cancer journey
We want to kick start a brand new research programme to meet the needs of people being diagnosed with head and neck cancer since the pandemic and listen to the needs of these patients and develop new ways to support them with specialist information and support when they need it
