Situation
For many people the past year has been a very challenging time. For our residents, the uncertainty how to adapt their plans for the future has caused them a great deal of anxiety and lack of confidence. Our ability for us and our supporters to facilitate the usual fundraising activities has caused an unavoidable impact on our overall core running cost. These funds will be used to ensure that our Charity can continue to maintain the services that we provide to the most vulnerable.
Solution
By continually adapting our service to ensure that we can continue to provide a safe and nurturing environment, we support people to work towards overcoming personal challenges and trauma. Through creative interventions, 1-2-1’s, small groups, digital and paper-based activities, we aim to restore self-esteem and assist with life skills. Residents are able to receive a formally recognised certificate of achievement each time a short unit of personal or career development is completed.
