    Situation

Each year there will be approximately 80-90 people killed on the roads of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire with numerous more people left with life-changing and serious injuries. The Road Victims Trust will bridge the gap of support to the people left bereaved, traumatised and injured by providing emotional and practical support.

    Solution

Working with well-established Service Level and Information Sharing Agreements with the Police Forces across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, the Road Victims Trust will contact all persons involved in collisions. A free emotional and practical support package will be offered to all these people. Thse who take up the service will receive a face to face counselling service for as long as is needed.
