Each year there will be approximately 80-90 people killed on the roads of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire with numerous more people left with life-changing and serious injuries. The Road Victims Trust will bridge the gap of support to the people left bereaved, traumatised and injured by providing emotional and practical support.
Working with well-established Service Level and Information Sharing Agreements with the Police Forces across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, the Road Victims Trust will contact all persons involved in collisions. A free emotional and practical support package will be offered to all these people. Thse who take up the service will receive a face to face counselling service for as long as is needed.
Without the valuable support of the Road Victims Trust I don't know where we would be as a family
Frankly I do not see how it could have been possible without the strength and support around us holding our hands every step of the way
The Road Victims Trust have been a huge part in helping us as a family at the worst time. They have given us the tools to help rebuild a new life for our family together.
