EYH is a national movement of the UK’s leading youth homelessness charities. Young people become homeless every day for everyday reasons because home life is hard and the odds are stacked against them. 67% leave home due to family breakdown. Young people have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic. Unemployment among 18-25 year olds has more than doubled in the past year. Young people have boundless potential to achieve great things if they receive the right support at the right time.
We provide young people with the support they need to access permanent housing, sustainable careers and successful futures. Our campaign aims to provide young people with the tools they need to leave homelessness behind for good. We support young people by providing them with: 1. A home 2. Employment, education and training opportunities 3. Support with mental health and wellbeing 4. Access to prevention services
