Donate to secure and exhibit a new locally discovered Celtic Coin hoard at St Barbe Museum. The Celtic Hoard comes at a cost and so far, we’ve raised just under £30,000 but we have a further £7,500 to purchase the treasure and then put it on display as a star item for everyone to enjoy.
It ran from 12:00 PM, 30 November 2021 to 12:00 PM, 7 December 2021

St Barbe wants to ensure that the arts, culture and heritage of the New Forest is preserved and is inclusive and accessible to future generations.
The funding will provide a foundation for the future. It will give future generations, as well as our own, the support needed to safeguard and add to the collections, offer the highest calibre art exhibitions, and encourage and inspire young people to grow their interest and knowledge of the natural and cultural heritage of the New Forest Coast.
Great little museum with modern interpretation of local history - naval - smuggling - salt trade and much more. Alongside a well presented art space and cafe. This place is a well managed gem. Go there.
Fantastic place! Interactive for children and adults alike. Very friendly staff, thank you!
Every time I come I see something new. Well done. A fascinating social history.
Excellent! Children are so well provided for here - interesting & challenging work sheets and trails around the museum.
