Situation
The young people we support experience poor mental health, parenting that can include neglect, abuse & poverty, and often live in unstable accommodation in isolated communities. Lack the opportunities, social and communication skills, and positive role models to make positive choices about the future. The children that we support come from some of the most deprived area’s of the country, let alone Teesside so our support is crucial in helping them not just for today but for their future.
Solution
Youth Project aims make a positive impact by providing practical help for the children by giving 1:1 & group sessions and engage in activities which help them positively engagement in education, demonstrate anti-social behaviour, improve lack of aspiration and low school attainment levels. Improve relationships with their peers, families and professionals, to increase resilience to improve confidence and self-esteem increase wellbeing to increase live chances.
