Situation
LAFF exists so that no child should have to go without education, and to ensure no young person gets left behind. We work with disadvantaged young people in Peru and the community organisations that support them to provide access to quality education and personal development opportunities to build brighter futures. Poverty, domestic violence, homelessness, teenage pregnancy and discrimination leave too many children in Peru vulnerable, socially excluded and lacking opportunities.
Solution
LAFF works with local partners in Cusco, Peru, to reach the most vulnerable young people: homeless boys, girls from remote indigenous communities, teenage mums and their babies, amongst others. We work with local partners to provide access to quality education, safe homes and personal development opportunities to help them overcome obstacles to achieving their full potential and building brighter futures. We provide everything the young people need to thrive, reaching over 130 children each year
