Situation
The pandemic has fractured communities and relationships through isolation and fear. Women we support are less connected than ever before resulting in increased and escalating mental health issues exacerbated by digital poverty and the skills gap.
Solution
We aim to reconnect the people we support with meaningful community rebuilding resilience and hope. We will provide ongoing, long-term care to people impacted by modern slavery after they have exited safe house or outreach support services. Our aim is to build on the success of City Hearts health and wellbeing programme by creating Community Connection Hubs which will create supportive, safe spaces for women and girls we support to equipping and empowering them towards independent lives.
