COVID-19 significantly impacted the NMC’s ability to fundraise, funds which we rely on every year to operate our services to so many people. As NMC remains the only provider offering these services to people affected by neuromuscular conditions, referrals and demands on the service increase year on year. Covering operational costs of £1.2 million is vital to continue offering this much needed support for NMC's service users.

Raising £15,000 to cover our operating costs of the NMC for a week will significantly help in our overall fundraising plans. We also aim to use the publicity around the Big Give to encourage local individuals, businesses, and community groups to get involved, which will help us to secure future support with fundraising and awareness. This will all enable us to continue supporting people and families throughout the UK that are affected by a neuromuscular condition.
