Situation
Families whose children have a life limiting health condition can find themselves isolated and cut off, unfortunately this has only been heightened throughout the pandemic. We have seen first hand how difficult it has been for families throughout the past 16 months trying to keep their vulnerable children safe during such a difficult time. Raising a life limited child affects the whole family,especially siblings. For many it's been heartbreaking to hear how their mental health has been affected.
Solution
JUMP would like to increase Memorable Days, which provide families with the opportunity to feel included, and have fun together in a welcoming environment. Throughout our Memorable days, JUMP's photography service will capture natural, precious moments between family members, providing new JUMP families with an individual memory shoot and memory book and returning families with more special memory snaps to treasure. Other organisations also join us to offer information and support to families.
