Situation
Homelessness is a brutal experience that blights the lives of individuals and our community. The pandemic has had an erosive and devastating impact on the lives of homeless people. Demand on our services is at an all time high and with the end of furlough and the eviction ban we expect further increases in homelessness. The funding we will secure will provide us with the resources we need to tackle the personal, social and structural issues which keep people trapped in a cycle of homelessness
Solution
Alongside the provision of accommodation we support beneficiaries with the aim of addressing their multiple and complex needs. We take a key worker approach co-ordinating care and increasing engagement with relevant health services, drug and alcohol support, counselling and other agencies. Complementing this we have a wide range of wrap-around support, including: Befriending Service Activities & social inclusion programme Health clinic
