Many of our young people have been heavily impacted by Covid-19 and are in danger of falling behind in their school work. We know that with your support we can make a real difference in the lives of many young people - on average 70% of our 1-2-1 students make a year's progress in just 10 sessions!

Situation
Over 40% of children in North Kensington are living in poverty and will, on average, develop slower, do less well at school, have poorer physical and mental health, and will generally have reduced life chances than wealthier children. Time away from school as a result of the pandemic has only exacerbated the problems faced by our young people.
Solution
We will work with young people and their families to provide a package of support that will help young people to catch up in any areas they have fallen behind. This will include 1-2-1 numeracy & literacy support, 1-2-1 careers and aspiration raising sessions, 1-2-1 children’s counselling, 1-2-1 advice sessions, 1-2-1 employment support sessions for older young people and group wellbeing activities.
