Covid-19 has had a devastating impact on disadvantaged young people from London. Many live in high-rise flats with no outside space, they are isolated, their lives have been turned upside down, their wellbeing and mental health has been impacted and education disrupted. The gap between them and their peers is widening and they badly need to rebuild their confidence and life-skills. A report from the Prince's Trust found 1 in 4 young people have felt unable to cope during the pandemic.

10 disadvantaged young people will participate in a 4-night voyage. Working as a team, they will take part in all activities (e.g. setting sails, helming, rope work, navigation, cooking, cleaning). Our highly professional crew will provide support and encourage the young people to focus on their positive achievements. The young people will develop the life skills, social skills, confidence and self-worth needed to realise their true potential and move on with their lives in a positive way.
